Another day in paradise ~

Hi y'all! 

We went to the Fresno Temple Friday and it was wonderful!  The Fresno Temple one of the smaller temples, but it is really pretty ~
Obviously, this is a shot of the angel Moroni on the top.  I still need to get a picture with the sign, but the sign was on the outside of the fence, and I didn't have time yet.  I'll get it next week when we go with our zone on Wednesday.
This is our "landlady" Britta, and my companion, Sister Morris, outside the temple entrance.  As you can see, they are so pretty!  It's just a joy to be with them ~

As with all the temples, the flowers are beautiful!   (If it's not totally clear, it's because I didn't have my glasses on.  I'm just glad there was actually something in the picture frame.)

I always manage to get cars or lights in the background.  The flowers are amazing.

Today, we went to a park for a service project - Helping Hands.  We, as a group, painted the restrooms, cleaned playground equipment and play area, and cleaned the grounds.  It's always a good feeling to give service. 

It was pretty cramped in the restrooms, and I think someone took a picture of Sis. Morris and I coming out of the men's restrooms - luckily we each had a paintbrush in our hands! I would like to see that picture!

This was a family helping with the clean up - the little guy was just adorable!

 

The sister in the middle with the MTC top (Sister Wiese) is one of the Coordinating Sisters, who are assigned by the Mission President to be in charge of all the sister missionaries.  You can, kindof, see her companion in the pink shirt in the background (Sister Gurecki).  They are really sweet and include us in 'sister' meetings, etc.

As you can see - it was a gorgeous day.  After working outside, we just sat in the backyard and enjoyed the day for a bit.
Amidst all the fun - we do things like everyone else!  Cook, clean up, laundry.  The other day, I was carrying too much stuff to put away, trying to hang up some bath towels with my arms full and things draped over my shoulder, and managed to drop my exercise shirt into the toilet.  Yes - it DID get washed again, with some bleach to the batch as well!  I could only laugh along with my companion, who thought it was hilarious! (and it was!)

We are doing a presentation for staff meeting on Monday, and then helping with the Career Workshop on Tuesday!  We have been working on handouts and posters.  Should be fun!
Gotta go - nope - it's not bed time!  We are going to a YM/YW musical production tonight!  We'll see if I actually get to bed on time when we get back.     :)
